Hampshire County Council and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust are carrying out a further public consultation on the future management of Yateley Common for people and wildlife, and would like your help.

The proposals follow the consultation carried out last summer and include re-introducing grazing to the Common as well as continuing heathland management and tree and scrub control. We are very keen to hear from all who visit and value the Common. More information on this consultation is available on the Wildlife Trust’s website at www.hwt.org.uk/pages/yateley-consultation.html . There will be a drop-in day on Saturday 15 September 2012 at The Tythings, Yateley. The event will run between 10am and 4pm and will be attended by County Council, Wildlife Trust and Footprint Ecology staff, so come along to discuss the future management of the Common with us.
